Segment documentation: |
|
Segment status = |
O |
|
Use of this segment in free form is not recommended since in most cases it inhibits automatic processing of the Invoice. Coded references to standard texts is an available functionality which enables automatic processing and reduces transmission and processing overheads. Standard texts should be mutually defined among trading partners and can be used to cover legal and other requirements. The use of this FTX segment has no consequencies on the processing of the invoice, e.g. it can contain explanation on reasons for credit notes
Note to DE 4451: Codevalue "ZZZ" showes: Text relates to heading section, Codevalue "SUR" showes: Text relates to summary section.
Examples for the use of agreed references in DE 4441:
EEV = The ownership is ours until full payment for goods.
WEV = The ownership is ours until full payment of outstanding money.
The use of references (master data) must be bilaterally agreed as well as the allocation to heading or summary section. One FTX segment may either be used with text codes OR free text. |
